Felix Shinder and his band plays Yiddish and Klezmer music, but also incorporates sounds from Balkan, jazz, blues.

He represents a large repertoire of songs reflecting the history of his region - Odessa city on the Black Sea coast, the heart of the Jewish culture in Eastern Europe. Songs like Limontchiki, 7:40, Haïm, Evreyskaya svadba (Jewish wedding) and many others, but also Jewish international folk songs Hava Nagila, A Yiddishe Mame, Hevenu Shalom Aleichem! ...
